Louis H. Lang Columbia, South Carolina
Mr. Lang received his undergraduate degree from the American University in Washington, D.C. He was graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law, cum laude, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, and Associate Justice of the Order of Wig and Robe. Mr. Lang was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1982 and to the District of Columbia Bar in 1983. He is also admitted to practice before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Lang came to the firm in 1987, after having served four years on active duty in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, United States Navy, and having served in the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, Washington, D.C. He became a partner in 1992. Mr. Lang concentrates his practice in litigation, principally in the area of title insurance claims litigation and he handles a variety of other business and commercial litigation, as well as criminal defense work.
