Biography

Mary Dameron Milliken earned an undergraduate degree in Business Economics from Wofford College in 1999 and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2002.  While at the University of South Carolina School of Law, she was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. 

Mary Dameron is admitted to practice in both South Carolina and Georgia. Since joining Callison Tighe in 2002, she has concentrated her practice in the areas of real estate transactions and development, real estate litigation, and appellate practice. Mary Dameron has represented developers of national retail shopping centers in the acquisition, development, leasing and sale of commercial shopping centers and developments across the southeast and has handled the acquisition of and leases relating to hotel properties in South Carolina. Additionally, she is skilled in drafting contracts, commercial leases, easements, and governing documents for property owners’ associations such as covenants, master deeds and by-laws.

During her time at Callison Tighe, Mary Dameron has represented title insurance companies and their insureds in title insurance claims and related litigation, and has handled numerous appeals. She has also handled foreclosure actions, structuring and drafting governing documents for various business entities, and handling issues relating to homeowners’ associations.
